February 25th, 2008At the risk of this site being less of a webcomic and more of a blog, I have another new post here and another Tuesday sans comic. After a particularly…frustrating day at the office I sat down this evening with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and what can I say, I like that show. Yes, there are plot holes and the moments where things try to get too emotional it struggles, but I can’t help it. I enjoy the hour. I’m amazed at how tightly the continuity intertwines with T2 without it being annoying. I’ll watch a second season if Fox picks it up. Based on Fox’s track record [which I imagines goes like this: "Prison Break? Didn't they break out? Renew it!" and "Firefly? What, is that 'bout an insect? No one'll watch that! Show the episodes out of order then Kill it!"] I don’t have much hope.
Sidenote: as I have music playing Front Row on my Mac mini, is there anyway to stop the ‘flipping’ of the album art? It happens far more frequently than I would like and it makes me keep looking up at what’s moving on the TV. Also, slightly nauseous.
That is all.

Sorry for the tough day man. Concerning the Sarah Connor Chronicles, I have really enjoyed that show as well. It’s been a long time since I nerded out on a TV show. Not since the Simpsons were in their prime (10 years ago) that I looked forward to a particular show.

I, too, have been watching Terminator and enjoying it. I’m still confused by the paradox the entire Terminator franchise is based upon, but it doesn’t make me enjoy the show less. Hopefully they pick it up.

I’ve never seen the show, but c’mon people!! This is the FOX network we’re talking about here. The execs are incompetent.
RIP:
Arrested Development
Futurama
Firefly
The Tick
Family Guy (though it has returned)
Andy Richter Controls the Universe
I predict it gets cancelled after two seasons.
